For this project I wanted to create a poster in the style of 1950s Retro-Futurism. I wanted to take a science fiction approach of making something space related as represented in my thumbnails with drawings of space exploration.

I went with a shuttle launch because i found that it would best suit the style through its colors. My favorite part of this assignment was using the gradients on the fire and smoke to make a burning effect. This project is what made me like illustrator much more as it felt like a test of the tools i knew and i was still able to learn so much from it.
